Dr. Naomi Jean Koenig, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, SANE, is a nationally recognized healthcare leader, clinician, and advocate focused on advancing access to high-quality, trauma-informed care in rural and underserved communities. She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Selah Wellness Clinic in Sandstone, Minnesota, where she oversees and delivers integrated primary care, psychiatric care, and specialty services through a comprehensive, patient-centered model.Dr. Koenig holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and is dual board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her clinical experience encompasses primary care, mental health services, substance use treatment, emergency and disaster medicine, and forensic nursing in her role as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner. Prior to her work as an advanced practice provider, she served as a paramedic and registered nurse, contributing extensive frontline experience to her clinical and leadership practice.A Pat Tillman Scholar, Dr. Koenig has received national recognition for her leadership, service, and commitment to social impact.
